Rockets 2026 CTX

Description

High school teams from all over texas will meet in Stonewall to safely test hybrid-propelled rockets they design and build from scratch in the classroom with a goal to take a 1-lb payload to exactly 1-mile high or to break the sound barrier while remaining under 13k ft. Once the teams' rockets have completed a Flight Readiness Review at the Chamber of Commerce, teams will take them to the Segner Ranch on Doublehorn Rd to launch. The event is free and open to the public.
