We’re excited to launch our Food Truck Series, a new class experience that brings the stories, flavors, and techniques of beloved food trucks into the Farmstead kitchen. Our first stop: Thailand—guided by guest chefs Jason and Amina Sevcik, the husband-and-wife team behind the popular Thai Ya’ll food truck. In this immersive, hands-on class, you’ll step into the vibrant world of Thai cuisine and learn how street food classics are built around balance—sweetness, heat, citrus, and deep savory flavor. Working alongside the chefs, you’ll fold delicate chicken wontons, stir-fry silky glass noodles, and simmer a fragrant Tom Yum Gai broth infused with lemongrass, lime, and chili. Throughout the evening, the chefs will share their real-world food truck insights, essential Thai techniques, and tips for sourcing fresh herbs and aromatics. The class concludes on a comforting note with a traditional-style pumpkin dessert drizzled in creamy coconut sauce—simple, nostalgic, and deeply satisfying. As with all Fischer & Wieser Cooking School classes, this experience goes beyond the recipe. You’ll enjoy a full meal, wine pairings, lifestyle cooking lessons, and leave with a printed recipe booklet so you can recreate these Thai favorites at home.
