The Zonta Club of Fredericksburg, TX was established on August 28, 1954 as a member club of Zonta International. Nearly 33,000 members belong to more than 1133 clubs in 67 countries and geographic areas. The yellow rose is the symbol of Zonta and the official colors are maroon and gold. Days for Girls
Harhare School Scholarships in Zimbabwe
as well as in the Fredericksburg, TX community by assisting in programs that benefit women and children including:
Education Scholarships for women and high school girls
Literary projects
Adopt-a-Family
Fredericksburg Food Pantry
Hill Country Needs Council
Grace Center of Fredericksburg
Girl Scouts of Central Texas Fredericksburg Unit
Mom Center
raising funds for all of the above advocacies and services.
Zonta Club of Fredericksburg General Membership meetings are held at 6:00p.m. on the third Monday of the month at the Golden Hub Senior Center located at 1009 N Lincoln St, Fredericksburg, TX 78624. When there are special programs for outreach to the public, designated locations in Fredericksburg are used to accommodate larger groups.
