• The history of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the City of Fredericksburg, Texas run truly parallel. In Frederickburg's early days Catholic worship services were held in homes and later in the Vereins Kirche (Society's Church) which served various denominations until their own churches were built.

  St. Mary's has a family population of close to 1,800 or about 4,300 people and is part of the San Antonio Archdiocese. Many of our parishioners are decendents from original members. We welcome you to browse through our pages to learn more about St. Mary's Catholic Church in Fredericksburg. We would love to have you as a parishioner and encourage you to get involved with one or more of our ministries or organizations.
