The Hill Country Film Society (HCFS)exists to promote the art and craft of independent filmmaking for the Texas Hill Country community. Through year-round programs and the annual Hill Country Film Festival, HCFS encourages discovery through visual storytelling. We create experiences that educate, inspire and engage. HCFS hosts a variety of year round programs: the Hill Country Film Festival, Indie Film Series, Film Camp and an annual fundraiser. Open to the public, HCFF will screen more than 90 independent films, most filmmaker Q&A sessions, panel discussions, festival parties, community screenings and more.
