The Gillespie Literacy Council , a non-profit organization, is dedicated to helping adults learn to understand, speak, read and write the English language.  The volunteer tutors offer one to one classes in Basic Literacy, English as a Second Language (ESL), US Citizenship, Driver's License and GED preparation.  The free classes are offered once a week for 1 1/2 hour per class.
