Masonry encourages its members to become better men, better husbands, better fathers, and better citizens. The fraternal bonds formed in the Lodge help build lifelong friendships among men of similar goals and values.

Fredericksburg Lodge presents scholarships to 3 deserving high school seniors, from the Fredericksburg and Harper  Independent School Districts.  Also each year, the Fredericksburg Masonic Lodge recognizes an outstanding educator from each of these School districts with the Mirabeau B. Lamar Award. For the last several years the Fredericksburg Lodge with the assistance of the needs council, has adopted a Christmas Family. Brothers from the lodge help raise money and collect toys and even food for a needy family during a special time of year.
