Caritas Family Assistance Network, Inc

Caritas Family Assistance Network Inc.(Caritas) is a local 501(c)(3 non-profit organization. Board members formed Caritas in response to a request for help from Fredericksburg Independent School District (FISD) administrators, counselors, and teachers to deal with increased social, emotional, and academic needs of FISD students. These unmet needs threatened not only student performance but also their emotional and physical health. Caritas provides frontline staff in the schools called Family Liaisons to work with FISD staff and connect students and their families with community resources.
